Taiji suits to everybody independent of the physical shape, age and sex. Depending on the person's objectives taiji can be practiced at different levels.
Taiji training in a group, frequently accompanied by traditional taiji music is enjoyable and interesting. Everybody can train according to the premises of his/her own.
Chen style suits well to persons who want to train as original taiji as possible and are interested in the self defense applications of taiji. Furthermore, it suits to persons who are looking for a good physical shape in addition to the relaxation and other health benefits brought by this art.
Yang style taiji forms are easier to execute and the forms are easier to learn than in Chen style. Therefore, it is recommended to the elderly persons to start with Yang taiji. After gaining some experience and after having somewhat strengthened legs it is easy to change to Chen taiji.
